If you read my last posts about paid review here and there you will see that you will need a blog with pagerank. Pagerank is a measurement provided by Google to determine the importance of a blog/website and this rank is purely based on the amount of backlinks you get from other website.
So, in order to increase your Google PR, all you need to do is simple. Obtain more and more inbound links to your blog. The next question then, how can I get more inbound links to my blog?
Firstly I have to told you that there are two kinds of links you have to know in accordance to google pagerank, it’s nofollow and dofollow link. To increase your pagerank, you need dofollow links, since the nofollow one will not the link juice that will increase your pagerank. I can elaborate this in a full post, but for now let’s just agree on this one thing; you need dofollow links to increase your pagerank.
OK, here are some link building methods you can use to obtain more inbound links to your blog.
1. Blog commenting. It simply leave comments on other blogs. Make sure it’s an on topic comment so the blog owners will not delete your comments. However most of the blogs place a ‘nofollow’ tag on their comment system, but there still many blogs out there that use dofollow. Search on google for dofollow blogs, you’ll get many of them.
2. Directory Submission. It simply submit your blog on any directories you find. Many of those directories are paid one, but there are a lot of other free directories you can submit your blog into.
3. Link Exchange. It works like this, I link to your blog and you link to mine. Ask other bloggers to do link exchange with you.
4. Guest Blogging. It is like, I write an article on your blog with a link to my blog somewhere on that article.
5. Article submission. It works like the above guest blogging but this time you submit your articles on any articles directories like ezinearticles.com and others. There are thousands of article directories you can submit yours.
6. Forum Postings. it works as simple as this. You join a forum or two, start making conversation with other members, make a new post, respond other people threads, and so on. And you place your blog URL (along with your anchor text) on your forum signature. the more forum you join the more links you get.
There are still many other methods you can use to obtain more inbound links but using the methods above alone will require a lot of your time. So try to take some actions first before applying other methods.
Once again, make sure the links you get is all dofollow. Good luck.
